This is a review based on 18 years of experience as a landlord. Learmonts are one of the best letting agents I have used. They go beyond simply being polite and responsive and having presentable staff who smile and are nice to you. Learmonts has robust systems in place so whenever I need information or need something done they get it done. They are thorough in the way they vet and think through who to put in my flats and deal with emergencies well and calmly. They aren't perfect, all letting agents mess up sometime, but they learn from their mistakes fast and also deal with any feedback I have in a mature and productive way.

Thanks a lot for the work and result on Highholm St, as a result of the work you have done I haven't lost a penny on Highholm St, despite the debacle with the previous agent.
Its a classic example of how in the letting business staying right on top of a problem, doing the simple unglamorous things consistently gets amazing results.
I asked Learmonts to come in and rescue a situation caused by an agent disappearing at the same time that a tenant on DSS messed up her claim.
You swiftly established rapport with the tenant by knocking on the door armed just with a letter of introduction, got her to make a new claim, got her to submit a backdated claim for the missing rent, chased her for missing documents that she forgot to submit that would have cost me £1,000, made sure the money was directed directly to yourselves. What makes the difference is getting this chain of events 100% right, dotting every i and crossing every t. One mistake and the whole house of cards comes crashing down. In particular, getting results from a DSS tenant and the council are not easy things to do.
There was as a reasonable amount of monitoring and prodding by me, but half the time you were ahead of me and when I was chasing for results you delivered immediately and found time to discuss the situation with me.
As a consequence I have £1,000 pounds more than I expected in the best case scenario and 2,000 more than I expected in the worst case scenario (if the tenant had not made a new claim at all). I have not had to get involved in a lengthy court procedure to evict someone who isn't paying rent.
The tenant, a young single mother, is still in a great, warm, ground-floor apartment with a new central heating system, double glazing and a solid lock on the door.

I was speaking to a lady who is on the phone's at Pitt St Police Station about what we have available to rent in Paisley.
She is back with family in Wales just now but due to move back to Paisley soon.
Anyway, she spoke with a Chief Inspector in the station who said to look for properties with Learmonts and he said not to try any of the others.
She wouldn't give his name only to say he's not a tenant.
I think he noted no incidents involving the police at our apartment's, compared with the properties of some of the other local agents.
